Divide Playing & Sleeping
Divide the space into two. One area is for sleeping, whilst the other is for doing homework.

Privacy
There are many ways to make a bedroom private and these are needed when there is more than one child sleeping in 1 bedroom. Using curtains is a good way to give each child there own space. But there are many different ways to make individual space.

Clothes Storage
There are many different types of storage that you can use in a child's bedroom. Wardrobes being the most popular. Making your own storage to hang on the walls or boxes for the floor to go in with the theme for the bedroom.

Homework Space
In front of the window build a large recessed desk to allow their homework to be done  in good light. The desk can also be used for storage

Carpets and Lighting
Carpet the room to help soundproof the room from the rest of the house. Place lava lamps around the room to give a new age feel.
