Carpets

Sea grass carpets gives a very natural feel to a room and is ideal for a dining room as the pile is very short this makes the floor easy to keep clean. Normal carpet although it looks very nice is not really an ideal idea in a dining room as the crumbs from the food eaten in a dining room would easily lodge in the pile.

Wooden flooring
Is one of the most popular types of flooring in a dining room as it is very easily cleaned and maintained. If brushed and mopped after every use that is all the maintaining it should need.

Ceramic Tiles
This type of flooring is also becoming popular in the kitchen and dining room for the same reasons as wooden flooring. The difference with ceramic tiles is they are available in many different colours to fit in with any room.

Cushion Flooring
This was the most common type of flooring for the kitchen and dining room as it was the only washable flooring. It is cheaper than ceramic tiles or wooden flooring and is maintained as easy but is worn much quicker.
